The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Amiens is the largest cathedral in France. Construction was completed in the mid-13th century. The Fantasy for Organ & Orchestra accompanies this tour of the gothic cathedral.

The Fantasy is scored for strings (18 violins, 3 cellos, 9 double basses); brass (6 French Horns, trumpet); timpani; and organ. Garritan, Inc., recorded individual pipes of two instruments: (1) The late Baroque organ (built c.1748) at the Deanery Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, at Most, Czech Republic; and (2) the modern Schantz organ at Riverside First Baptist Church in Riverside, California (organ built 1966).
