As the New York Times stated shortly after the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, 2022, “the queen was a symbol of continuity and constancy over eight decades.”  Indeed, she was a symbol, and also an unparalleled example of decency, dignity and selfless service –  for Britain, for the Commonwealth, and for us all.

The Queen’s Kingdom is scored for bagpipes, strings (24 1st and 2nd violins, 8 violas, and 6 double bases), woodwinds (3 flutes, 3 clarinets, 3 bassoons, and English Horn), brass (6 French horns), and percussion (timpani, and 20” Constantinople cymbal).
